R300/301 (Rapier)

Product Information

The R300 range of refrigeration systems from GAH offers various options for operators requiring temperature control during the delivery of chilled or frozen goods in small to large suitably insulated panel vans and box bodies with single phase electric standby.

The stylish aerodynamic design utilises plastic covers for the condenser and and evaporator. This flexible unit is ideal for most panel van applications.

A vehicle engine driven compressor powers the units on truck drive. The new quieter GAH scroll compressors are utilised for standby.

An in-cab controller with digital display monitors and controls the temperature and defrosting whilst providing a constant load space temperature readout.

Typical applications for R300
(Rapier) models

The following assumptions have been made:

  • Ambient temperature 30°C
  • Chilled ‘K’ Factor is 0.7 W/M²/°C
  • Frozen ‘K’ Factor is 0.4 W/M²/°C
  • Drop duration is 3 minutes

Mercedes Sprinter/Renault Master
(4–8m³)

Chilled (0–3°C) up to 5 drops per hour
(40 in an 8 hour day)

Frozen (–18°C) up to 3 drops per hour
(24 in an 8 hour day)

Citroën Relay/Transit MWB
(6–10m³)

Chilled (0–3°C) up to 4 drops per hour
(32 in an 8 hour day)

Frozen (–18°C) up to 3 drops per hour
(24 in an 8 hour day)

Please consider the SR350 (Super Rapier) for higher drop rates.
