A vehicle engine driven compressor powers the units. Compressor mount kits are available for a wide variety of vehicles.
An in-cab controller with digital display monitors and controls the temperature and defrosting whilst providing a constant load space temperature readout.

Typical applications for Arrow models
The following assumptions have been made:
- Ambient temperature 30°C
- Chilled ‘K’ Factor is 0.7 W/M²/°C
- Frozen ‘K’ Factor is 0.4 W/M²/°C
- Drop duration is 3 minutes
Mercedes Vito/SWB Transit
(4–8m³)
Chilled (0–3°C) up to 5 drops per hour
(40 in an 8 hour day)
Frozen (–18°C) up to 3 drops per hour
(24 in an 8 hour day)
Citroën Relay/Transit MWB
(4–8m³)
Chilled (0–3°C) up to 4 drops per hour
(32 in an 8 hour day)
Frozen (–18°C) up to 3 drops per hour
(24 in an 8 hour day)
Please consider the R300 models (Rapier) if standby is required and the SR350 models (Super Rapier) for higher drop rates.
