GAH systems compatible with Whole Vehicle Type Approval
A European wide certification scheme to ensure the safety of all vehicles is currently being phased in for all types of vehicle from cars to commercial vehicles.

Critically, this certification includes any additional components that can be attached to a vehicle, including refrigeration systems.

GAH has been working hard over the past few years to ensure that each new system produced conforms with EC Whole Vehicle Type Approval (ECWVTA) standards.

The ECWVTA accreditation procedure covers both the design and manufacture of systems. That is to say that each unit produced exactly matches the design specification and its components.

GAH had covered much of the preliminary stage of the procedure with the requirements for the CE mark, which is now carried by all new GAH refrigeration systems. Two key requirements of CE mark accreditation include electromagnetic testing and sound level measurements, which were carried out by independent UKAS accredited companies.

GAH's latest product ranges have been certified on the design aspect and the company has been awarded COP clearance (conformity of production) by the VCA for ECWVTA. GAH is audited for COP by the VCA on an annual basis.
