IN THE FAST LANE WITH GAH
Up to 80 loyal Thermecon installers recently had the chance to
let out the throttle on their bikes to reach speeds of up to 160
mph at the first annual GAH Heating Products Track Day held at
Snetterton race track in Norfolk. After being divided into three
groups – novice, intermediate and advanced – the quest
for speed commenced at midday and went on until 8 p.m., when one
installer estimated he had managed to clock up 150 miles on the
day!

The
sun contributed to make it a fantastic day, with some installers
remarking that it was the best corporate day they had attended.
Due to the success of the event, GAH have decided to hold a Track
Day as an annual event. The GAH mobile display trailer was on
hand with examples of boilers from the Thermecon oil-fired range,
as well as the Dualstream water control system and the Softstream
water softener range. The trailer also doubled as a mobile catering
unit with demand for food and refreshments fairly high!

Thermecon
oil fired boilers are available with outputs from 40,000 to
a massive 270,000 Btu/h, all of which are suitable for conventional
or balanced flue. With a choice of floor standing or wall-hung
models, the Thermecon range is powered by Ecoflam burners, and
incorporates a complex baffle system to make it one of the quietest
oil boilers on the market today.

As well
as Thermecon oil fired boilers, GAH supply the revolutionary Dualstream
system, which enhances mains water volume to provide balanced
water supplies to all hot and cold outlets – even when run
simultaneously. Consisting of a hot and cold water pressure balancing
unit coupled with a high performance unvented hot water cylinder,
Dualstream is ideal for properties with two or more bathrooms,
perhaps incorporating power showers, and which wouldn’t
be able to function on a normal unvented system. With increasing
demand for exhilarating top performance power showers using up
to 40 litres of water a minute, most traditional systems simply
cannot provide the necessary flow rates that Dualstream can.
