GAH Heating has added another oil-fired boiler to their whisper quiet Thermecon range. The new Select external freestanding model comes with a robust weatherproof steel casing, and is designed to be situated outside, freeing up valuable space inside the dwelling. Available in two sizes with outputs from 40,000 to 80,000 btu/h, the Select external freestanding incorporates a precisely matched Ecoflam burner to make it one of the most efficient and quietest oil boilers on the market today.

Frost protection comes as standard, and an override switch means the boiler is easy to service even if the householder is out. An integral balanced flue means there’s no need to worry about flue arrangements, and as the Select external freestanding boiler only requires two small holes in the wall for pipework, there’s no need to hire expensive core drills or remove lots of brickwork.

Thermecon Select boilers are also available as external wall-hung models, in addition to their main internal floor standing and wall hung range. All models are available with both conventional and balanced flue options which are now concentric telescopic versions, finished in white enamel - to match the styling of the boilers - with stainless steel terminals. Vertical flues are finished in black, with pitched and flat roof flashing supplied as standard.
