IN THE LAP OF LUXURY AT ICKWORTH HOUSE
GAH Heating has just supplied 5 Thermecon oil-fired boilers for The
Ickworth Hotel near Bury St. Edmunds - a new 39-bedroom hotel in the
East Wing of 18th century stately home Ickworth House. Specified and
installed by Warners of Ipswich, the boilers are all 240/300 Thermecon
Option models, four of which provide heating and hot water throughout
the hotel, with the fifth boiler heating the luxurious indoor swimming
pool. |
The Ickworth Hotel is the latest in the chain of Luxury Family Hotels
that aim to provide luxurious adult comforts and yet openly welcome
and cater for children. The Thermecon Option boilers selected for
this installation offer a reliable and efficient heating and hot water
supply, which is crucial to maintaining high levels of comfort within
the hotel. With high fuel efficiency and quiet operation a priority,
Thermecon boilers are an ideal choice for commercial installations
such as The Ickworth Hotel.

Thermecon oil fired boilers are available with outputs from 40,000
to
270,000 Btu/h, and are suitable for conventional or balanced flue.
With a choice of floor standing or wall-hung models, the Thermecon
range is powered by precisely matched Ecoflam burners, and incorporates
a complex baffle system to make it one of the quietest oil boilers
on the market today. A unique 45o angle access plate across the
top and front of the water jacket allows greater access for cleaning,
locating baffles, and viewing the burner. Concentric balanced flues
include ‘O’ ring self seals for a tight and reliable
fit, and all boilers are supplied with interchangeable blanking
plates for a choice of rear, side or vertical balanced flue outlet.
In addition
to the Thermecon range of oil fired boilers, GAH also supply the
revolutionary Dualstream system, which enhances mains water volume.
The Softstream family of water softeners completes the GAH Heating
range.
